My little monkeys We were blessed to be able to see our grandchildren this fall, they live out of state and with Covid it is hard to see them in person. We had a great time and my heart was so filled with love, happiness and contentment to be able to hug, hold and play with my monkeys!! There are times when I wish there was no internet/computers, etc., but then I google with these little blessings and am extremely thankful!!!! My heart would break if we could not see their little faces! The Lord is good to us and we are so thankful for his mercy, grace and blessings! Have a blessed day!
Sunshine and sweetness A true example of a woman of God!! The ladies of our church and some friends joined together to celebrate the soon to be entrance of another sunbeam to this beautiful woman and their family!!! It was such a joy and a privilege to celebrate and honor such a true example of what a christian should be as a woman, wife and mother!! There are very few woman that I have met that has such a humble spirit as this beautiful woman has and I am blessed to have her as a friend. May our Lord help us to have a humble spirit in his sight and his light shine through to others!! Have a blessed day!
Who are we..... Just started this book! I am so excited!!! If you have not listened to these podcasts by: Nancy Wilson and Rebekah Merkle they are a must! What kind of christian women do we want to be? FALL.... FALL!! YAY!!! It is our favorite time of the year! Pumpkin pie, bread, candles, stroll's by the lake with my man, sweater's, bomb fires, changing of the color's and coffee!! did I mention coffee, oh, I did :) There is just something refreshing about relaxing in the cool breeze and the sun beaming down on your face. This year it has made me more aware of how even in a world chaos, confusion and pain life still keeps moving! The Lord is still in control and his will is always done and cannot be thwarted!! So, let's enjoy all that he is given us and not be controlled by all that is going on. Because, I know that I have a lot to be thankful and joyful about! What about you? Have a blessed day!
Beauty Even in the midst of our crazy world there is peace and the Lord allows his people to be reminded how great he is by his creation! We were blessed to be able to go out on the water to relax, swim and rest in his quietness! It was such a sweet time to be able to sit and look at the water, feel the breeze and be reminded that the one that controls the waters has everything else under control! So let's rest in him!!
