New Things~   Well, I am trying my hand at baking. I have never really enjoyed baking, my daughters on the other hand are quite different. My oldest daughter is a natural and don't even need a recipe most times, my other daughters are pretty good at it and continue to learn.    I have decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and give it a try! So, today I made some cinnamon rolls, they were good just need to roll them tighter and going to see how some bread turns out! Have a blessed day!

Growth and wisdom     As christian women, wives & mothers we should always be growing in these gifts the Lord has given us! When you are a pastors wife you have one more gift from the Lord to be growing in :)    When my hubby and I got married I never thought he would be a pastor, not that I thought he wouldn't be a good one, I just didn't see that in our future. One of the reasons is because I didn't believe I had the so called "requirements" ( playing piano, bold personality, etc.) to be a good pastors wife. I had also seen women in these positions abuse it by being judgemental, arrogant, clicky, bossy, etc. and also being judged, gossiped about, left out, etc.  and their children being treated the same way by others in and out of their church. Well, the Lord had a different path and that is exactly what my hubby is and I am the pastors wife!    Know in some church's the pastors wife is right up there with him and has her own special...

Activities     How's everybody doing so far with this whole thing? We have been moving along as normal. Our family Home schools, We don't do a whole lot and we get most of our food and milk from farms so it doesn't effect us quit as much as others.    My hubby and I had plans to go away for a week but, now we are changing them to spending that time putting in a patio so, w hatever your situation is make the most of it and if your in a good situation and not struggling as much as others be helpful, make a meal for a neighbor or the elderly, etc.. Our children are making a bunch of cards to send to a couple of nursing homes since they are not able to have family and friends visit, so please take this idea and do it in your area and if you have any suggestions leave them in my comment area.     Stay healthy & have a blessed day! :)

OH NO update.....   So my hubby and I were on the same page with a lot of people with this virus of it's just over the top. We do believe that there is some of that going on but, we also have done a lot of research and have come to the decision that we also have a responsibility to be responsible.  The Lord calls us to be wise, not fearful, and that may mean isolating ourselves for others sake. My hubby has to work and my daughter ( she's a nurse) has to work and we know life has to go on but, we should be praying and seeing what the Lord is calling each family to do and not be tearing down those who we may disagree with.   In our family we are being very careful. I have a auto immune issue that targets my larynx and can effect my breathing so I am staying put and when others come home hand washing in the mud room before touching anything! So stay healthy and know that the Lord has it all under control and enjoy your time with your families!!! ...

OH NO!!! Essential oils are a must in our home for everything!     Coronavirus oh no!!! All I am hearing these days is the fear and frenzy of this virus. WAIT, I need to get to the store and get my toilet paper, I will be right back. Okay, I am back just had to get my 144 rolls but, I could only find 44 hopefully that will last us😁 Obviously people don't realize that no symptoms of this virus has to do with that end of things.     Seriously though, The fear that is overtaking people even us Christians is sad. I am all for taking precautions and using wisdom, in our home we use a lot of essential oils for diffusing, cleaning, healing, etc. we have roll on's we use while we are out and about, we wipe down cart handles at  stores and take our vitamins and others. We also wash our hands regularly (which should just be a normal thing anyway). So, in a nutshell do what you would do if you were trying to not get the flu or pneumonia or even a cold. ...

Christmas 2019  My little monkeys  My little helper :)                                                                       Drake is all boy  My love  That smile melts my heart ❤  They beat me! :)  ❤❤   This past Christmas we had our son and little monkeys here and what a wonderful and blessed time the Lord gave us!    They live in Colorado so we do not get to see them very often, we do though get to google with them and we are so thankful for that. We had all of our kiddos and monkeys under the same roof and it was crazy to say the least but, the type of crazy you are thankful for and wouldn't trade it for anything :)   Thank you Lord for your love and blessings! Have a blessed day!

I have always been one to make my bed in the morning it just seems to make me feel like I am ready for the day. My children have been taught this from toddler age but still seem to forget to make theirs in the morning and they are no longer toddlers!   It is something that irritates me and I have to say honestly I feel like I have become a nagger in this area with them, so I have decided that while they are under this roof if they want breakfast the bed needs to be made first!!    Now, If anybody reads this and they are a non bed maker that is fine, no judgement here and if anyone has any ideas besides what I have put down to control this catastrophe 😁 I would be open to them. Have a blessed day!

~ This Man ~   My love, protector, friend, pastor and so much more! It was his 55th birthday this last Saturday and I enjoy showering him with love everyday but, this day is just for him!     We have been married for 27 years this May and I wouldn't trade them for anything. We have been through hard times and many good times!     Marriage is the best union ever but, it is also very hard (if we are honest). You go through hard times and good times but, it is through those hard times that we grow in the Lord and together! You learn how to talk things out, cry together, even yell sometimes but, most of all you learn to forgive and pray together!      I can honestly say that we have become closer together and our marriage is rock solid due to forgiveness, prayer and putting the Lord first, leaning on him for our strength and not our own!         So hold strong to the Lord and your hubby and re...
Good Reading     I am really excited about starting to read this book called "You Who?" by: Rachel Jankovic. She is a breathe of fresh air humbly writing the truth that takes you out of your comfort zone and steps on some toes! Give it  a read.    I was trying to put up a pic of it but, I am having trouble getting my pics to fit properly. This blog thing is new to me :) Have a blessed day!
